android - how to use websokets in phonegap application for notify user? -


i need write phonegap(ios , android) app in background listen websockets connection , notify user. plugin that, exist? or other way ?

i'm pretty sure network stack (and therefore websocket connectivity) interrupted when application goes background. think have time register apns / gcm handler when os tells suspend application.

you might want ask question on kaazing website (there few folks there know stuff) confirm this.
