import - Is it possible to dynamically export data from JIRA into Excel? -


i'd set data import source in excel through can dynamically pull data jira. know used possible using excel web query , xml link jira filter wanted use. i've been unable determine if still possible. if isn't, there way achieve this?

whilst little old thought note here how did using jira 7.2.2 without need 3rd party plugin

  1. use issue navigator create filter/view of jiras want available excel
  2. save filter
  3. click on export drop-down
  4. right click on csv (all fields or current fields) or xml
  5. select copy link address (i using chrome other browsers have similar function)
  6. open excel (i'm using 2016 version)
  7. select data tab > new query > other sources > web
  8. paste in url
  9. click ok , follow various steps
  10. you're done :)
